Jeet Bahadur Basnet comes to the “Aama Ghar” from Naya Basti village. Both of her parents are suffering from poverty as they don’t have any land of their own neither they have job. In Nepal the literacy rate is very low only new generation are educated but still in remote village of Nepal there is not any school. As Nepal was closed county before 1954 and the people didn’t have right to read and write and have education. There was only one school in Katmandu in all over Nepal which was for member of Royal family and the prime minister.

In this way the life of people with out education not having any land or property is very difficult. So, the parents could not take care of Jeet Bahadur and give him education and food. So, he was brought in the orphanage.

Jeet is very intelligent boy. He love to sing a lot. His hobby is to sing and he want to be a very good singer in future. We wish him all the best for his good career of singer in future.
