“Aama Ghar”
was established in 15th March 2005 in Nepalgunj which is in the
southwest part of Nepal as a branch orphanage of Nepal Children
Welfare Service Center. The climate in Nepalgunj is very hot as
it is the hottest place in Nepal. The temperature goes more than
40 C. during summer. The heat it brings many plagues every year
in Nepalgunj like chlorea, encephalitis, Malaria etc. So many
people dies from these disease. Inspite these plague in Nepalgunj
the far western part of Nepal in remote areas the people are suffering
from leprosy and tuberculosis.
Shova now who is the caretaker of the children in “Aama
Ghar” has been working in the “Leprosy Clinic in Nepalgunj
from more than 6 years. While working among the people who are
suffering from leprosy and tuberculosis she fell pity on them
as well as their children. Some patient almost loose their part
of body because of the leprosy and some people died in the hospital
from tuberculosis as they arrive in the hospital on their last
stage of their sickness. After wards their children left behind
as orphan without any hope.

Having pity on these children
and other children Shova decided to help them and support
them by giving them hope for life. For that purpose she
had started an orphanage called “Aama Ghar”
which means motherly home in 15th March 2005 to give these
children motherly love, care, education and hope for their
future.
Now Aama Ghar is taking care for 10 children
under it is guardianship in homely environment. With your
kind help and support it is looking forward to give opportunity
to more other needy orphan and helpless children of far
southern part of Nepal. |
